The South East Coast Ambulance Service’s ‘Make Ready’ Centre is essential for keeping emergency vehicles ready to go at all times. It ensures ambulances are fully serviced, stocked, and able to respond quickly. To help with this, the centre needed a powerful backup generator that could provide continuous power without any interruptions.

But there was a big challenge: the centre is near a hotel, so the generator had to be very quiet (no louder than 65 decibels at one meter), which is unusually low for a generator this size. To meet this strict noise limit, a specially designed solution was needed.
